Is this donation Sadaqah or Zakat?

This is Sadaqah-e-Jariyah. Building a Masjid is one of the most rewarding forms of ongoing charity — every prayer, every Quran recitation, and every lesson taught at Masjid-e-Omer will earn you reward as long as the Masjid stands. If you wish to pay Zakat, please contact us directly for verified eligible recipients.

Will I get reward after death?

Yes! The Prophet ﷺ said: "When a person dies, all deeds end except three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah-e-Jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them." (Sahih Muslim) By contributing to Masjid-e-Omer, you establish a continuous source of reward that will benefit you even after you leave this world, Insha'Allah.

Can I donate on behalf of someone?

Absolutely. Make the Niyyah (intention) to send the reward (Eesaal-e-Sawaab) to your deceased parents, family members, or loved ones. Insha'Allah they will benefit from your contribution. Many scholars recommend this practice, especially for parents who have passed away.

Is my payment secure?

Yes, all payments are processed via Razorpay, which is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant — the highest level of payment security. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details on our servers. Your transaction is encrypted end-to-end and processed directly through Razorpay's secure gateway.

Will I receive a receipt?

Yes, Razorpay will instantly email you a payment receipt after your donation is successful. For 80G tax exemption certificates, please email us with your payment ID, name, and PAN number — we will issue the certificate within 7 working days.

We share regular construction updates — including photos and videos — on our social media channels and via email to all donors. You can also contact us directly to schedule a visit to the Masjid-e-Omer construction site and see the progress with your own eyes, Insha'Allah.
